My Opinion

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is one of the best korean drama that I've watched. The storyline is very simple and light that it didn't bore me like the other shows. It was one of those shows where it will make you smile and cry on every episode. The characters didn't seem like they were acting at all, just them, while the camera is flashing and video recording. The chemistry between the actors seemed so real. The friendship between the characters are natural. The characters were relatable. From Kim Bok Joo's cuteness about doing embarrassing things in the name of crush to Nam Joo Hyuk's determination about not giving up because of a one mistake.

I liked how the story didn't turn into a love triangle. The story circulated around the main characters, friends and family and their growth of love. It was all about the the main character's emotional responses that kept the viewers into the story. Basically, the whole show was perfect. From the storyline, cinematography, to the casts. Weightlifting Fairy will show you the true meaning of love and friendship. The difference between each one of it. This show surely did deserve all the reviews they got from international viewers.
